Unfortunately, I have to take a break fr this tumblr. My finals are next month so I’m gonna be studying my ass off. But do not worry…I’ll be back mid december. :) Anywhoo…I know some of you are already on your Thanksgiving break. AS A REMINDER…there is a Beyonce Thanksgiving special. I think it starts at 9pm. I got my copy today and just finished watching it.
DEFINITELY worth the money and for BEYONCE fans.
It’s not the actual concert that y’all saw when you went to see her for her I AM TOUR.
It’s more of a smaller arena/intimate type of concert.
I thought the show was well thought.
There are three sections of the show: Mellow, Intermission, and Story.
THE MELLOW SECTION
*was more acoustic
*mellow
*slow jams
*included: halo, scared of lonely, resentment, etc.
*my favor part=SWEET DREAMS MEDLEY
INTERMISSION
*Beyonce exposes you to JAZZ :)
*She gives you a little taste of Etta James
*A different, yet awesome version of DEJA VU
*Also included was a terrific tap dance routine. The three dancers killed it!! :)
STORY
*THIS is my FAVE section.
*I loved how Beyonce planned it out.
*She takes you through her hit songs (solo and w Destiny’s Child) as she tells a story. I thought it was funny and entertaining.
*This section definitely brought the crowd to their feet.
*It ended with single ladies. Great ending.
OTHERS
*a lot of hair whippin’ hehe
*the female band=fierce!
*nice different versions of her songs.
*nice outfits
I recommend you watch it.
PLUS! There’s a bonus feature where you get to see how Beyonce and her crew put the show together. It’s interesting to see Beyonce do work other than sing and dance. She really puts her soul in her shows y’all. :)
And there’s a small appearance of JAY Z in the feature as well.
P.S. there’s a CD for the whole concert. it also has bonus features.
