Beyonce and Jay-Z will be closing out their summer in the Hamptons in true mega-couple fashion with the rental of a 31,000-square foot home for $400,000. Just for the month of August.

The New York Post reports the Hamptons home was built by developer Joe Farrelland is currently on the market for $43.5 million.

And judging from the property’s listing, provided by Corcoran, it appears as though they have little baby Blue Ivy’s playtime interests in mind.

The estate, known as Sandcastle, features a “planetarium like home theatre,” a two-lane bowling alley, a skateboard half pipe, a rock climbing wall and an entire section dedicated to a children’s performing area.

Stunning for us common folk, but mere chump change for the fabulous new parents who have showered each other with lavish gifts celebrating their first year as reigning king and queen of cool.

This past Father’s Day, Beyonce reportedly purchased a $40 million jet to ring in Jay-Z’s first year as a dad.

Jay-Z himself acknowledged that at the end of the day, “I’ll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever.”

Beyonce has been busy this year. She welcomed baby Blue Ivy in January and returned to performing in late-May with a series of concerts at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City, but a new, mysterious post on her website has many fans curious if she’s preparing to release new music.

“Leave your footprint on 19 August 2012,” the brief message states.

The countdown is sure to be a worthwhile announcement of some sort. The possibility of new music is not out of the question. Beyonce has reportedly already started work on her upcoming fifth studio album with OneRepublc singer Ryan Tedder, who revealed he was heading into the studio with Bey to work on new material earlier this year.

The announcement that something is coming arrives, coincidentally, at the same time as an anecdote from British pop singer Conor Maynard, who told the BBC that Queen Bey is going to great lengths in the studio to prevent songs from leaking – which happened with her last album, 4, which leaked in full three weeks ahead of its release last year.

Bey’s team is apparently keen to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

“I’ve heard some mad stories. With Beyonce, I heard that with her people they’ll make sure that there’s no-one in the studio,” Maynard says. “They go into the studio, wipe it, set up one new session for her to record. Once she’s finished recording they move it onto a hard drive. They wipe the studio computer again and then leave.”

As an investment partner and spokesman for Duracell Powermat JV, Jay-Z makes a cameo in the brand’s new commercial, receiving a call from his superstar wife Beyonce. Known for keeping his family life out of the spotlight, it’s a refreshing change to see him connect his wife in the battery powered black and white clip.

In the 1 min clip a young man maintains a charged battery on his iPhone throughout the day using Powermat. After work, meeting a few friends for dinner, and finally making it to a club, the young man runs into Jay-Z. However, the two don’t share the friendliest of an exchange as the young man mistakes Jay’s iPhone for his and nearly answers Bey’s call. But Jay, being the boss that he is, gives the young’n one look and he knows to hand the phone over quick. The Throne rapper then answers Bey’s call and walks off.

Earlier this year Jay-Z inked a deal with Duracell appointing him as an investor, as well as being the face and spokesman for the Duracell Powermat JV. “I believe in the future of wireless energy and I believe that Duracell Powermat is the company to bring on the revolution,” Jay said in the release. “I’m partnering with Duracell Powermat because they’re providing the solutions for the future.”
