Beyonce and Jay-Z are living it up rockstar style these days.  In between hitting the road to several European countries and cities for Jay & Kanye's Watch The Throne tour, The Carters hit up England for their bestie Chris Martin's Coldplay concerts this weekend.

Bey and Jay drank some wine with Ty Ty as they watched Coldplay perform their second of 2 nights during their European tour.

Jay-Z and Beyonce spent the weekend in London enjoying several Coldplay shows along with their friend Gwyneth Paltrow, wife of frontman Chris Martin. Photos of the Carters drinking and dancing have surfaced at Manchester stadium as well as at Wembley Stadium. During the latter, they watched Roc Nation signee Rita Ora hit the stage as part of the Capital FM Summertime Ball.

Jay-Z and Beyonce have always been close with the Martins and just last week it was reporte that the celebrity power couples were planning a joint family vacation to Florida.

That close relationship, however, came under fire recently when Paltrow snapped and tweeted a picture of herself on stage during The Throne’s Paris concert (June 1) with a caption that read, “Ni**as in Paris for real @mrteriusnash (the dream) tyty, bee high.” The tweet caused enormous backlash due to its racial undertones. Initially The-Dream tried to take responsibility for launching the tweet from Gwyneth’s phone unbeknownst to her, but the singer/producer retracted his statement last week to MTV News.

"Well, we were there, of course. We were Patron’d out of our minds, number one. Number two, I was moreso trying to take the heat for a friend because I knew that the reaction was going to be silly," The-Dream admitted to MTV News on the carpet for vitaminwater’s Fader Uncapped concert in Hollywood on Thursday (June 7) night. "I know what she meant; I know what she didn’t mean."

Two musical power couples collide…in a camper. Jay-Z and wife Beyonce, along with their friends Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, are apparently set to take a group vacation together in Florida in a Winnebago. Paltrow recently joined Bey in Paris to catch Jay’s Throne show.

A source told The Sun, ““Gwyneth and Beyonce think the jaunt, going back to nature on a high-end Winnebago, will be the ideal getaway” and allegedly the two couples’ children, including Blue Ivy, will be along for the ride. The source added, “It will be low-key but it’s just what they need and they’ll get to spend quality time together.

The Carters and Martins have long since been good friends. In February 2011, Gwyneth said Jay was her dream musical collaborator. “I think it would be a good combination,” Paltrow stated. “He is a genius.”

That close relationship came under fire this week when Paltrow snapped and tweeted a picture of herself on stage during The Throne’s Paris concert with a caption that read, “Ni**as in Paris for real @mrteriusnash (the dream) tyty, bee high.”

Many criticized Paltrow’s use of the N-word but singer The-Dream, however, stepped in to defend his friend, explaining, “Fyi Sorry for the Confu I typed Ni**as in Paris for real from Gwens phone. My bad I was Fkd up please excuse it! We were lit!”

Gwyneth Paltrow (r.) has been a longtime friend of superstar couple Beyonce and Jay-Z.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has come under attack for using the N-word when referring to a photo of two of her African American friends Jay-Z and Beyonce.

When partying on stage with the couple during a Jay-Z and Kanye Watch The Throne stop in Paris Friday, Paltrow tweeted a photo with the message, “Ni**as in paris for real @mrteiusnash (the dream) tyty, beehigh.”

Many who took offense to Paltrow using the derogatory term slammed her online. Amanda Seales called Paltrow’s comment “wreckless.” A post on popular African American blog site, Bossip.com, said “Gwyneth might be getting a little too comfortable around her black friends …”

On Sunday, Paltrow defended using the word. “Hold up. It’s the title of the song!" she said in response to a post from blogger B. Scott.

"Single Ladies" producer The Dream came to Paltrow’s defense. "WE GIVE THE WORD TO MUCH POWER!" he wrote on his Twitter page.

As an African American person, I agree that Paltrow’s use of the N-word was inappropriate. But I believe I understand why she thought making the reference was okay.

During the U.S. run of Watch The Throne tour, Jay-Z and Kanye closed out the show with the infectious sing-along song. They performed 9 encores in Los Angeles the night I attended. If you’ve gone to a hip hop show, you know that crowd participation is mandatory.

Several years ago, I saw Kanye perform “Gold Digger” in concert. Part of the chorus goes, “I’m not saying she’s a gold digger, but she ain’t messing with no broke n-gga.” Before Kanye performed the song, he told the crowd that they had his permission to use the N-word that night. I cringed amongst an audience of mostly non-African Americans.

Based on Paltrow’s stage photo, she was likely caught up in the “N-ggas In Paris” moment, especially since the show was taking place in France.

But Paltrow isn’t the only person confused about the etiquette for using the N-word. There’s one simple rule. If you are not African American there is no instance for using the word that is not going to be taken offensively. It doesn’t matter if you’re friends with the most prominent African Africans on the planet, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Oprah or President Obama. Don’t. Use. The. Word.

Beyonce may be inexperienced in the pregnancy/baby realm, but the expectant singer has a friend full of advice in her corner. Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow, who recently vacationed on a yacht together along with their famous spouses, are apparently besties!

Gushing over her friend, who is mother to daughter Apple and son Moses with husband Chris Martin, Beyonce said recently, “Gwyneth’s kids are great, they’re a real credit to her and Chris. Jay and I love it when we have them to stay, they’re just so adorable.”

As for being prepared to welcome her first child, reportedly a girl, Beyonce says, “Along with them and my nephew, we’ve had lots of practice, but I guess nothing prepares you for your own children. We’re so blessed to have a great network of friends and family around us to help and offer advice.”

Just what kind of advice is Gwyneth Paltrow whispering in Beyonce’s ear? An anonymous source dishes:

“Gwyneth has known about this pregnancy for over a month and has been telling Beyonce to drink a shot of wheatgrass each morning and to rub her belly with coconut oil to prevent stretch marks.

“She’s also advised her to meditate for an hour every day and soak her feet in ice water to prevent swelling.

“Beyonce knows Gwyneth is just trying to show how much she cares, but her advice can be a little overwhelming.

“She’s sending packages of herbs and vitamins – but Beyonce wants to do things her own way, what suits her best and not be told what to eat.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, who is currently promoting her newest film, Contagion, said that she is very thrilled about her friend Beyoncé’s pregnancy.

She told Entertainment Tonight in an interview that she is “very happy” for Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z. “It’s always interesting when you’re a woman with success and you’ve achieved a lot, and then you have a baby and you realize everything you thought was an achievement really is nothing until you have a kid,” she added.

Paltrow also told Extra that Beyoncé is very “excited.”

According to Splash News, Paltrow also told Entertainment Tonight that she knew about Beyoncé’s pregnancy before she revealed it at the MTV Video Music Awards. “Someone told me the other day, ‘oh, Beyoncé is pregnant’ and I was like, ‘no, why, who told you that?’” she said.

The coolest thing was being backstage. Beyonce watched it with us. She was so excited for her friend [Paltrow]. It was the cutest thing ever. It was so one of the moments when you’re like, “Aw BFF love!” Beyonce was so happy for her. She gave her a big hug, and we all had a moment. It was one of those backstage moments that you’ll always remember.

Her husband’s inclusion on the 2008 Glastonbury line-up caused a mass outcry.

So Beyonce may be more than a little nervous about her own reception, as reports this week claim she has been confirmed as the headlining act for the final night of this year’s festival.

But the superstar can rest assured she will have at least one friend backstage, with her close pal Chris Martin taking to the stage on Saturday night with Coldplay.

While the final line-up will not be announced officially until spring, rumours are swirling that the Single Ladies singer has confirmed after founder Michael Eaves hinted the third headliner is: ‘An American artist that I’ve been wanting for yonks and yonks.’

The 29-year-old has previously said she ‘would love’ to follow in husband Jay-Z’s footsteps on the Pyramid stage.

Beyonce’s UK spokesperson declined to comment on the reports today, but if the hitmaker does indeed appear, she will be able to take advice from Jay-Z on winning over the crowds.

Glastonbury is usually the domain of rock and alternative bands, so the former Destiny’s Child singer would be a surprising addition.

Jay-Z’s booking caused outrage in 2008 - including among other artists such as Noel Gallagher - but the hip hop artist generally silenced critics with a performance later described as the ‘highlight’ of the festival.

Last year the 41-year-old spoke about performing at the Somerset festival, telling the Los Angeles Times: ‘It felt like we were invading a country.’

He added that opposition to him was simply ‘The old guard standing in the way,’ and ‘one of those hurdles we had to break down.’

Beyonce will have support from Chris Martin, who has been good friends with the couple for years.

Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow were some of the few attendees at Beyonce and Jay-Z’s top-secret nuptials in 2008.

Paltrow recently revealed that she looked to her girlfriend for inspiration for her role in new film Country Strong, in which she stars as a washed-up country music star.

The actress told this month’s Harper’s Bazaar that the superstar gave her advice for her singing role and added: ‘Beyoncé is the most talented human being on the planet.

She has so much mastery over what she does. It’s not even confidence – it’s on a whole other level. It’s mind-blowing.

'I watched her [perform] a lot to see how she did it, and I was like 'S**t! I can’t do that!'”

U2 are also expected to headline on the Friday night, after having to pull out of last year’s 40th anniversary festival.

Bono posted a message on the band’s website in October saying: ‘Looking at the tour dates – there is a gap in the band’s schedule ahead of the East Lansing show on June 26th, which would make the Friday night a possibility.’

Beyoncé was a great teacher to Gwyneth Paltrow while the latter was learning to be a musical performer for Country Strong. Perhaps a little too great.

"Beyoncé is the most talented human being on the planet," Paltrow, 38, tells Harper’s Bazaar U.K. in its March issue, on newsstands Thursday. “She has so much mastery over what she does. It’s not even confidence – it’s on a whole other level. It’s mind-blowing.”

Beyoncé, 29, was trying to be helpful, but Paltrow at times found her example intimidating. “I watched her [perform] a lot to see how she did it, and I was like ‘S—-! I can’t do that!’ ” Paltrow says.

The actress ended up becoming a very believable country singer for the film role. But she was still terrified when called on to perform live at the CMA Awards in November.
